For it to count you have to land the final hit that kills the enemy using these 4 abilities, for a total of 100 kills. It’s best to weaken the enemies beforehand, or focus on enemies that die in one hit, or spam all abilities in quick succession to wipe out bigger groups. They are unlocked automatically from story progress (unmissable) and by buying them from Peter’s skill tree. It’s also advisable to buy the upgrades from Peter’s skill tree that improve these abilities.

Peter acts as Miles’ mentor and gets to exist firmly in a space where the movies (interested only in the drama) and the comics (interested only in sadism) have always refused to let him be. 003 Update Suits
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 was first revealed during Sony’s 2021 PlayStation Showcase event. The initial trailer gave us a look at Peter Parker and Miles Morales in action together, with Venom joining the fight at the very end. During PlayStation’s September 2023 State of Play, Insomniac showcased a closer look at Marvel’s New York.
Like the first two games, the true star of Spider-Man 2 is its story. It finally gives us the chance to jump between playing as either Peter or Miles as the two work together to protect New York City from Kraven, a fierce warrior looking to transform the city into his hunting ground. Their personal lives don’t fare any less stressful–Peter and Miles are both stuck, struggling to figure out what’s next for them.
When webbed, enemies are more vulnerable to attacks, or they can be stuck to walls and other surfaces to take them out of the action. The Web-Shooters are always accessible, and always reliable, providing players with a gadget that can constantly stick more bad guys to a knockout. Spider-man 2 actively drip feeds you new side activities as you progress the story, so that was the driving factor in making sure I regularly paid attention to the main quests as well. Spider-Man 2 (PS5) features new and returning gadgets that can be upgraded to be used in combat and during missions.
This could be jarring at times, but fortunately, the new update will let players swap between the tendril colors to better match their chosen suits. After the devastation left in the wake of Sandman’s rampage in the opening sequence of the game, a fair portion of the city remains sand-covered and battle-damaged for the duration of the story. You’ll spot Damage Control banners dotted around, which is a company from the comics that specializes in repairing the property damage caused by conflicts between superheroes and villains.
On the surface, it’s another thrilling superhero story packed full of surprises, cameos, and Easter eggs – but there are deeper meanings to be found here, too. There are also smaller stories at play, though, ones that may seem less important when compared to city-wide chaos, but feel like potential world-enders to those who inhabit it. Both Spider-Men tackle the most extreme examples of trying to manage a work/life balance you can imagine, exploring a range of personal issues including strained relationships and loss that plague us as humans, no matter how superpowered we may feel.
You’ll be looking for a building to the North-East of it on the corner of an intersection, close to where a wind tunnel snakes around to the North. Peter feuds with her over her murderous tendancies, but Yuri doesn’t care, widening the rift. Apart from her darker personality, she’s using more blades and chains than the comics’ fear gas and highly advanced tech she stole from Mysterio. Unfortunately, Kraven’s goons kidnap him, leading to an action-packed car chase across the Big Apple.
