Jump onto the platform with the Coin, then jump up to the Wires and tug them to reveal yet more platforms. Other players view this game as a culmination of the PlayStation legacy after Astro’s Playroom featured almost every console generation, accessories, characters, and iconic locations. Sony Interactive Entertainment finally nailed the platforming genre, and it only took a cute little robot to give them the courage to innovate. There are environmental puzzles that must be solved by pulling certain wires to open new platforms to jump on to make the ascent much more convenient.

There is no way to turn the touchpad controls off, nor is there an alternate control method. I handed the controller to my sister asking her to do the area for me, with the expectation this would be a one-off. Past games are also celebrated in fine style thanks to the little skits that are always going on in the background, often involving other bots playing the role of famous game characters. You also ping Astro into action with a flick of the touchpad and zip up his various special suits by running your finger upwards. Astro’s Playroom is not that game, as it’s quite short and still at least 50% tech demo, but since so few will ever get to play Rescue Mission it’s an important step towards that goal. It’s also free with every new PlayStation 5, so it’s the one game that you can almost guarantee everyone will play – and it gives a very good first impression.

Throw the cannister with the net inside at the blue aura when the lock-on symbol appears to reveal the Special Bot. Go under the bridge and immediately on your right pull the exposed cable cords to grab a throwable canister with a net inside. Punch 88vv.com to reveal a steering wheel, then stand in front of it push the Options button to bring up the map. Go to the far right corner of the beach, next to the building, on the opposite side of where the Gran Turismo Astro Bot is.

Confirmed Playstation 5 Games

Honestly, the biggest complaint I have with Astro’s Playroom is just that it’s too damn short. I finished all 16 of the main levels, the final area, and completed each of the speed run trials in around three hours. That’s not very much content — but I still have well over half of the game’s collectibles left to discover, which could easily double the amount of time spent if I wanted to go for the platinum. I used this example last time and I like to explain that with how precise the haptics are here I can actually tell the difference between when Astro walks on wood, metal, glass, and so on.

Instead of progressing the usual way, climb up the wall using the rocks to get to the tree at the top. Spin at the base of the tree with the bot sitting atop it, and it will drop some bananas. After crossing the second wire bridge, stand at the corner as shown in the picture below.

Keep track of your progress using in-game checklists to ensure no collectibles are missed. Patience and thorough exploration are key to unlocking everything the game has to offer‚ including its hidden trophies and special bots. Trophies in Astro Playroom serve as rewarding milestones that enhance gameplay and motivation. They encourage exploration‚ completion of levels‚ and discovery of hidden collectibles like puzzle pieces and artifacts.

Steps To Unlock The Platinum Trophy

As you’re exploring Playroom’s levels you’ll also stumble across Astro Bots wearing a blue cap and holding a camera. They’re mostly there for the fun of it all rather than to accumulate anything, but every single one of them made me smile, even the few that I had to take a moment to try and guess at. I won’t spoil any more here so as to not rob anyone of the joy of first discovering them.
